The RNLI was very lucky to have Nick as a volunteer - he was tireless, dedicated and so enthusiastic about every part of life at the lifeboat station.  I never managed to get to the station before him in the morning, as he always "caught the early bus".  And he would always (unless the weather was really horrible!) come out of the shop to greet me - I shall miss him very much.
